Just as Jesus called children to Him, so we welcome children to St Peter’s. They are important and integral members of the church. There is always something for them!

Sundays Groups

Age based groups run on Sundays during our 10.30 service.  We begin all together and then split into different groups for age appropriate teaching and activities. We come together at the end to hear what the children have been doing and to finish the service together. On the last Sunday of each month we have an All Age Celebration service and this includes a Mini Celebration with lots of singing and actions for our youngest children.

Family Hour Toddler Group

Family Hour is a very friendly baby and toddler group for the whole community which has been running for over 30 years! It’s the place to be every Tuesday in term time at 10am at St Peter’s. You will be greeted with a smile and served with freshly brewed coffee or tea, with quality toys, craft and singing for your little ones.  We look forward to welcoming you. Special Events

We hold all sorts of special events for children throughout the year: Saturday Specials, Good Friday Garden building, Holiday Club, Light Party, Christingle, Family Carols. Check out the Calendar to find out what’s going on at the moment!
