Midlands Women’s Convention 2018

We are again planning a trip to the Midlands Women’s Convention this autumn. Like our weekend away, it’s a chance to spend a day together and enjoy a spot of extra spiritual refreshment. It’s a rather bigger affair – there were 700 of us last year. It was an inspiring day and should be again with the theme “Now I See”.

The main speaker is Liz Cox who many will remember as she spoke at our own weekend a few years ago. There is an excellent seminar stream planned this year too (including one for teenage girls so do bring along any daughters aged 14 +). The convention takes place in Nottingham (at Cornerstone Church) and the date is Saturday 6th October. The cost of the day is £18 (£10 for teenagers) and we will be arranging transport (it’s a very easy day out on the train). If you would like to join a party of St Peter’s women for this event, we’d love to hear from you. Tickets do need to be booked in advance so please get in touch  by the first Sunday in September if you would like to come. Further details of the event and seminar choices are on the flyer here, also available at the back of church or if you have any queries please contact Penny Davies (Carlton) or Erica Ward (Eastgate) .

Everyone is invited and we’d love you to come! You can book online here.
