This page contains resources for children to use during or after each Sunday service. There are questions for you to ask them, activity sheets and a craft idea if you are able to get the resources together.
There is more here than you can do during the service but why not use the extra ideas with your children during the week to reinforce what we are learning? Explore and enjoy!
Sally, our children’s ministry coordinator, wants to help you make the most of these resources every Sunday. Have a listen to her ideas.
We’d also love you to use these videos with your children in the run up to Easter. There’s one for every day!
Sunday 19 April
Craft Suggestion : Jesus ascending puppet
Click on the tab above and have a go at making something you can use to tell the story. Bring it along to your zoom group on Sunday afternoon!
Easter Sunday 12 April
Activity Suggestion : Easter Scavenger Hunt
We need you to go and find some things ready for our zoom group on Sunday. Make sure to watch the children’s talk on Sunday to find out what they are (but parents have a sneak peak on the activity button above so you can help your children to find them).
Good Friday 10 April Saved
Craft Suggestion : Easter Garden
We can’t make our usual Easter garden at church this year, so have a go at making your own with whatever bits and pieces you can find around the house and garden. We’d love to see your photos when you’re done! Instructions and ideas above.
Sunday 5 April Taken away by the Guards
Craft Suggestion : Easy palm branches
Why not make these for your children to wave during our online Sunday service? You will need some paper and some sort of sticks, lollipop or similar. Instructions on the button above.
Sunday 29 March The Return of the King
Craft Suggestion : Singing Stones!
To join in this week’s suggested craft activity, you will need to find a small stone and some paint or other pens for decorating it and some card or paper. Paint, decorate or draw a mouth on the stone as if it’s singing praise to Jesus! Make a speech bubble and write some words of praise to Jesus, then stick it to the stone. Send us a photo when you’re done!
