“So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others” Romans 12 v 5
Every Christian needs a spiritual home in which to grow and be nurtured, to serve and be served. At St Peter’s there are a number of ’homes’ on offer; we are 4 congregations, with 3 values, in 2 locations, but we are one church family! We hope that you will find your spiritual home in one of our congregations and that you will prayerfully consider joining us.
What Membership Involves
In Anglican Churches we mark our membership of a local church by joining the parish (electoral) roll. It entitles you to vote in church elections and to stand for the parochial church council. If you live outside the parish you will need to come for six months before signing up. You will need to complete a form which you will find here.
As a member of the church, it is our aim to help you use and develop the gifts God has given you in the mission and ministry of the church. Please let us know what you think you could do! There are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Have a look at our SHAPE form here.
We do ask every member of St Peter’s to prayerfully consider how they can support it’s ministry and mission financially and you can find out how to do that here.
